Bonjourno my fellow television addict friends!! This post is dedicated to this week's tv programmes (the ones that have aired so far.)
On my list, True Blood, Gossip Girl, 90210, Teminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles and Heroes. This week will see the return of my other favourite shows such as Desperate Houswives, Brothers and Sisters, Grey's Anatomy, Smallville, Supernatural and Sons of Anarchy (Did I miss any out??) One Tree Hill has taken a back seat to my other shows at the moment, my patience with the show is wavering due to the incredibly unrealistic SOAP OPERA storylines. I mean Nanny Carrie WTF? Seriously. Kick her ass out of the show and kill off Dan already, he's survived one too many deadly situations. Lucas and Peyton are finally back on track, that is the only thing that I can say is keeping my interest in this show. Honestly season five (the beginning at least) was so well written, the pace was just right and the angst wasn't forced it was just there. But cue the writers strike and it's like, soap opera central once again. Whatever happened to good quality writing? At least when Heroes hit the rocks last year, the writers fessed up to their mistakes and tried to get back on track...anyways, enough with the OTH rant.

TRUE BLOOD
True Blood is a unique show not because of the theme (vampires seem to be everywhere these days, though I'm not complaining as I kinda have a fetish, an unhealthy interest in vampires...whatever you wanna call it) but because of the dark nature of the show. Sure shows like Buffy and Angel touched on dark subjects but it never really touched on the whole erotica that is associated with the undead. Moonlight went against the grain and brought the vampire out into daylight (just as Twilight did, *sigh* Edward!). But True Blood has the vampire living in dirt during the day (As Henry did in Blood Ties...okay well he actually slept on a king size bed, but still during the daylight hours he was kaput) and prowling the dark streets at night. They've been brought out of the coffin and are visible to regular humans and the not so regular cue Sookie Stackhouse.
This weeks episode I felt centered a little too much on other characters. I'm a big fan of Sookie and her flighty ways so I thought she was pushed to the back in this episode and Tara was pushed forward. Now I'm all for Tara as she's a fighter, but hooking up with Sam was ..a no no. Sam's just too lovely and Tara's very brazen. Oh well...next week we'll get to see a certain blonde hair viking esque vampire *swoons*

GOSSIP GIRL
Extend the claws ladies because we have a serious catfight on our hands. This weeks episode was just FANTASTIC. The scheming, the back stabbing, the jealousy it's a true portrayal of the teenage life and it bloody brilliant to watch. Serena and Dan are clearly being touted as the meant to be couple but we're in our second season now so there has to be that time apart. (Much like the OC, with Marissa/Ryan) but unlike Ryan, Dan Humphrey is a bit of a manwhore. Hooking up with random girls during the summer and then making the moves on the so called Amanda? Not cool bro, not cool. Though it did bring out the worst or as I like to view it, the best in everyone. Blair and Chuck's scheming ways never grow old and these two are quite simply put...made for each other. Serena coming out and readying herself to shine once again...it was about time. She was holding back with Dan because she didn't want that life but his comment to her at the end of the episode, well it's gonna make him wish he'd never said anything!!
The V and N hookup over? What already....let me say this sarcastically, "Aww shame" They were never meant for one another and after their break up in season one...why on earth did the writers go back there. They had set it up for the D/V future, with Vanessa looking at him with puppy dog eyes and Nate walking down the street, practically arm in arm with Serena...and then the start of season two and it doesn't follow suit? Shameful but predictable.

90210
Not really one of my favourites but definately likeable. This episode was good if not for TY and his gorgeous smile. Seriously that boy is far too good looking (and he reminds me of Tom Welling) As a teen drama it's gonna be filled with the typical issues, betrayal, sex, lying, sex etc.
Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles
A good episode, a little less Cameron/John time than I would have liked but it was good none the less. I'm just looking forward to next weeks episode where we find out about Cameron's past. I sooo cannot wait for that. Oh and whats up with the blonde chick trying to get John's attention, back up girlfriend...he's in love with a Robot, if you dont mind (or at least my little fan girl heart wishes.)
and now onto....HEROES
The writers severely f'd-up with season two. The storylines were moving away from the characters whom we had grown to love over 22 episodes. The only good thing to come out of season two was the addiction of the psychotic Elle. She's just pure class. Season three entitled "Villains" has gotten off to a good start though I would have liked for Mya to die (seriously couldnt they just kill her off with her pointless brother) Hiro also is a little annoying.. harping on about his destiny, gosh man, grow a set and find it your bloody self!!
Good points of the episode: Elle, future Peter, Nathan not dying, Noah being released. Sylar and Claire moments.
Bad points: Mohinder trying to be a good, Hiro and his little sidekick.

Anyways let me know what you thought of the shows you've watched this week!!
Oh and I'm back making some icons and other stuff, I need a community to join where I can post it. Anyone know of any good ones?
